Volleyball Recap: Two Rivers Has No Trouble Against Hastings

Two Rivers had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Hastings on Thursday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Raiders. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Two Rivers never let Hastings on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Ace Witham, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Two Rivers' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hastings, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Two Rivers will head out on the road to challenge Cretin-Derham Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. After both having extra time off, Hastings and Simley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
