Baseball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Preston

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Preston and Chouteau-Mazie, and Preston kept the tradition alive. The Pirates never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won ten matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Preston's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15.

Coming up, Preston will challenge Ketchum at 5:00 p.m. on May 2. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 19-1 victory against Okmulgee on the 23rd.
