Christ the Cornerstone Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.1 points per game.
Last Thursday, Christ the Cornerstone Academy earned a 39-27 win over Antioch Christian Academy.
It was another big night for WILL JACKSON, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. BRICE HAYWOOD was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Liberty Christian Academy, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They were dealt a 67-33 defeat at the hands of Cornerstone Christian Academy on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Liberty Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 642nd, while Cornerstone Christian Academy is ranked 258th).
Christ the Cornerstone Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
Christ the Cornerstone Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Liberty Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 60-49.
