Preview: Griswold Wolverines vs. Plainfield Panthers
Griswold is 1-9 against Plainfield since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Griswold Wolverines will be home for the holidays to greet the Plainfield Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Friday, Griswold came up short against Montville and fell 49-42.
Meanwhile, Plainfield unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Lyman Memorial an easy 37-11 victory.
Griswold's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Plainfield, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-1.
Griswold couldn't quite finish off Plainfield in their previous meeting back in January and fell 34-32. Can Griswold avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
