There's no place like home for William Blount, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Karns Beavers with a sharp 55-30 win on Friday. The Governors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Several Beavers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Austin Slover, who threw for 238 yards and two TDs on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 56 yards on only five carries. Cameron George helped out on the ground, rushing for 184 yards.

William Blount's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Karns, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. William Blount will take on Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Karns, they will challenge Halls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
