Volleyball Game Preview: Northern Durham Knights vs. Voyager Academy Vikings + How To Watch

The Northern Durham Knights will face off against the Voyager Academy Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Northern Durham had taken Riverside-Durham down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Pirates.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Voyager Academy came up short against Research Triangle on Thursday and fell 3-1.

While Voyager Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Research Triangle work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 17-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Voyager Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Northern Durham, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Northern Durham took their victory against Voyager Academy when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
