Gilmour Academy piles up the points against Trinity

Recap: Gilmour Academy Lancers vs. Trinity Trojans

The Gilmour Academy Lancers won against the Trinity Trojans last Tuesday with 53 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Gilmour Academy took their match at home with ease, bagging a 53-25 victory over Trinity. Given Gilmour Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Trinity is ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Trinity lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Neva'eh Harrison, who scored seven points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of De'oshania Bennett, who scored four points along with three steals.

Gilmour Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilmour Academy will take on Richmond Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beaumont School at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Beaumont School will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
