Saint Mary's Hall came tearing into Friday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 47-37 victory over the St. Anthony Yellowjackets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-32 back in December of 2024.

Saint Mary's Hall's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maddie Florence led the charge by putting up 12 points in addition to six boards and five steals. That's the most steals Florence has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Genesis Edwards Johnson, who went 8 for 20 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Saint Mary's Hall pushed their record up to 10-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for St. Anthony, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-7.
