Baseball Game Preview: Montgomery Central Indians vs. White House Blue Devils

The Montgomery Central Indians will head out to face off against the White House Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Montgomery Central is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Montgomery Central came up short against Clarksville Academy on Friday, falling 10-3.

Dylan Fulton was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Matthew Heimpel also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, White House suffered their biggest loss since May 4, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 9-3 to White House-Heritage. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost seven in a row.

White House's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Montgomery Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Montgomery Central beat White House 7-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
