League recap: New Oxford scores huge upset over Dover

The biggest upset of the week belonged to New Oxford, who took down 347th ranked Dover, 22-15. Anthony Lippy threw for 124 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two yards in the win.

The Colonials moved up to 394 from 425 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in York-Adams II. New Oxford climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Eagles 22-15.

Jacky Chen was the best wideout in the league this week as Dover fell to Jason Thurston's team. Chen tallied three receptions for 123 yards. Curtis Harman helped Dover's passing attack out by catching one ball for 22 yards.

Dan Hare was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 137 yards on 12 carries as Kennard-Dale lost to the Colonials. Dallas Allen also contributed to the rushing game with 68 yards on the ground.

West York Area's Brandon Kinneman and Zach Smith have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading York-Adams II in both passing and receiving yards. Kinneman has thrown for 1047 yards this season, while Smith, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 47 catches for 805 yards. Northeastern's Daniel Adams leads the league in rushing yards with 1200.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Bulldogs take on New Oxford. West York Area is currently in first, while the Colonials are in third.

Ronald Miller's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Bobcats, 35-14. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Bulldogs.
