Basketball Game Preview: Minooka Indians vs. Naperville Central Redhawks

Having just played yesterday, the Minooka Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Naperville Central Redhawks at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Minooka is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

On Friday, Minooka humbled Joliet Central with a 65-32 victory.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Naperville Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They managed a 36-30 win over Metea Valley on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Redhawks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Minooka is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points per game. As for Naperville Central, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.

Minooka was able to grind out a solid victory over Naperville Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 69-57. Will Minooka repeat their success, or does Naperville Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
