Basketball Game Preview: ConVal Cougars vs. Lebanon Raiders

The ConVal Cougars will take on the Lebanon Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on ConVal, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, ConVal turned things around against Laconia on Tuesday. They blew past the Sachems 57-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cougars have posted since December 13, 2024.

Meanwhile, Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 59-42 to Coe-Brown Academy.

ConVal's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

ConVal ended up a good deal behind Lebanon when the teams last played back in March of 2021, losing 54-37. Can ConVal avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
