Orange entered their tilt with South Granville on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Vikings. Given Orange's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 117th, while South Granville are ranked 444th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dallas Johnson and Yurem Tapia Mendez scored all three of Orange's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Orange's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for South Granville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14-1 record this season.
