Baseball Recap: Chesapeake Comes Up Short

Chesapeake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the St. Joseph Central Irish.

Chesapeake saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Muncy, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Dakota White also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Chesapeake's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for St. Joseph Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Chesapeake will host South Gallia at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Joseph Central, they will face off against South Charleston at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
