Basketball Recap: Neveah Mccorkle's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mooresville over Community School of Davidson + How To Watch

Mooresville was the 53-22 winner over Community School of Davidson when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils took a 46-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans on Thursday. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Neveah McCorkle, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Harvell, who earned seven points.

Leading Community School of Davidson to victory were Aubrey Mccormick and Carlee Rounds. Mccormick went 5-for-10 to rack up 12 points and three steals, while Rounds had ten points. What's more, Mccormick also posted a 50% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in January.

Mooresville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Community School of Davidson, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Mooresville has already played their next game, a 50-42 victory against Christ the King on the 21st. As for Community School of Davidson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-34 defeat against West Rowan on the 21st.
