Basketball Recap: Seton Catholic Skates Past Scottsdale Christian Academy with Ease

Seton Catholic had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 31-point drubbing they dealt Scottsdale Christian Academy on Saturday. The Sentinels simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 74-43. The win was just business as usual for the Sentinels, who after five games remain undefeated this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seton Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kj Fauske, who posted 22 points and five assists. Fauske's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Morris, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 17 points and five rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Seton Catholic was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Seton Catholic's record is now 5-0. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Seton Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 93-45 victory against Page on the 29th. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Horizon Honors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
