Softball Recap: Exeter Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Exeter barely beat Blue Eye the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 13-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Exeter and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Blue Eye, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Exeter has already played their next contest, a 16-0 win against Verona on the 6th. Blue Eye has also already played their next matchup (against Bradleyville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
