The Walnut Ridge Bobcats and the Osceola Seminoles will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Osceola took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Walnut Ridge, who comes in off a win.

Walnut Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Hoxie with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 57-42. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Osceola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 59-32 loss at the hands of Blytheville.

Osceola's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Walnut Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.

Walnut Ridge took their victory against Osceola in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 53-33 score. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Seminoles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
