Soccer Game Preview: Hampton County vs. Atlantic Collegiate Academy

The Hampton County Hurricanes will take on the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hampton County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Horse Creek Academy a 4-0 shutout. The score was close at halftime, but Hampton County pulled away in the second half with three goals.

Meanwhile, Atlantic Collegiate Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Govies with a sharp 12-0 win. It was an even better day for Taylor Buttles as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory got Hampton County back to even at 10-10-1. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
