On Tuesday, Mundy's Mill earned a 61-52 win over Morrow. 61 seems to be a good number for Mundy's Mill as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Mundy's Mill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Orlando Favors, who scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Favors has scored at least 25% of Mundy's Mill's points. Another player making a difference was Dajuan Riddle, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, North Clayton narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Drew 57-55. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Clayton.
North Clayton found their leader in underclassman Brandon Battle, who scored 26 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Battle has scored at least 25% of North Clayton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Benjamin, who scored 12 points.
The win got Mundy's Mill back to even at 2-2. As for North Clayton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
