Basketball Recap: Lanier Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lanier Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 78-41 loss at the hands of the Valor Christian Lions. The Lightning were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-20.

Defeat or not, Lanier Christian Academy got some senior leadership from Emma Flowers and Ellie Roberts. Flowers posted 11 points and four steals, while Roberts went 7 of 10 en route to 14 points.

Lanier Christian Academy now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Valor Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lanier Christian Academy has already played their next game (against Trinity Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Valor Christian has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Pinecrest Academy.
