Volleyball Recap: Fenton Comes Up Short

Fenton had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks on Saturday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Eva Long paced Fenton's offense, picking up seven kills. Long also shared the team's lead in assists with Madison Elteringham: they picked up eight each. Elteringham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The win keeps Bloomfield Hills at an undefeated 4-0.

Coincidentally, Fenton and Bloomfield Hills will both be playing Walled Lake Northern the next time they take the court. The Black Hawks will head out to face the Knights at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
