Basketball Recap: Jordan Hernandez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northview over West Covina

After soaring to 55 points the game before, Northview was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 40-28 to the West Covina Bulldogs. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 46-45.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Hernandez, who posted six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakob Ramos, who put up six points along with seven boards and four steals.

Northview has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for West Covina, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Northview will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Charter Oak at 6:30 p.m. Northview is facing Charter Oak at the right time seeing as Charter Oak is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for West Covina, they will head out on the road to face off against Covina at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
