Volleyball Recap: Ooltewah Owls vs. CSTHEA Patriots
Ooltewah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the CSTHEA Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.
Ooltewah started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-20, 26-24, 25-21.
Isabella Carlisle was the offensive standout of the match as she had 12 digs and one assist. Those 12 digs gave her a new career-high.
Ooltewah's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for CSTHEA, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.
