Baseball Recap: Wayne Bulldogs vs. Stratford Bulldogs

Wayne had lost four straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 4-11 to make it five. They lost 12-0 to Stratford. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, Wayne's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wayne saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Kemp, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

As for Stratford, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games.

Looking ahead, Wayne will welcome Wewoka at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Stratford, they will head out to square off against Ninnekah at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
