Volleyball Recap: West Florence Takes a Loss

West Florence lost against Blythewood back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bengals. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21.

Drew Wilson paced West Florence's offense, picking up nine kills. Wilson got some help from Ethan Pham and his 14 assists. Finally, Wilson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

West Florence's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Blythewood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.

West Florence will face off against North Myrtle Beach at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blythewood, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sumter on the 7th.
