Basketball Game Preview: McDaniel Mountain Lions vs. Roosevelt Roughriders

McDaniel hasn't had much luck against Roosevelt recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The McDaniel Mountain Lions will face off against the Roosevelt Roughriders at 6:30 p.m.

McDaniel is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They lost 58-38 to Cleveland. The contest marked the Mountain Lions 's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt entered their tilt with Grant on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They managed a 75-70 win over the Generals.

The victory got Roosevelt back to even at 5-5. As for McDaniel, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

McDaniel came up short against Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 52-48. Can McDaniel avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
