Football Game Preview: Central Cobras vs. Davenport Broncos

The Central Cobras will square off against the Davenport Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central is coming into the game hot, having won their last 12 games.

Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They took down Jupiter 25-6. Given the Cobras' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Warriors are ranked 61st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

One reason for the win was Central's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Jupiter's QB won't forget Tajeyah Chance anytime soon given she sacked her three times.

Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Davenport's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 16-6 to Harmony.

Davenport's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.
