Baseball Recap: Post Falls' Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Post Falls had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Meridian Warriors 4-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

The team relied heavily on Kyler Cooley, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Meridian now has a losing record of 2-3.

Post Falls has already played their next contest, a 6-4 loss against Capital on the 20th. As for Meridian, they will take on Bonneville in a tournament on Friday. Bonneville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
