Fort Payne entered their tilt with Anniston on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Anniston Bulldogs by a score of 43-30. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 128th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fort Payne is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Anniston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
