Basketball Game Preview: Chetopa Hornets vs. Oswego Indians

Chetopa hasn't had much luck against Oswego recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chetopa's tournament run continued when they took on Plaza Heights Christian Academy on Saturday. The Hornets were outmatched by the Lions and fell 61-6.

Meanwhile, Oswego scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by Caney Valley 75-42.

Oswego's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Chetopa, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-4.

Chetopa was taken down by Oswego 78-34 when the teams last played back in February. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
