Baseball Recap: Little Elm's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Little Elm had lost five games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 7-20-1 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Lewisville Farmers 4-3. That's two games straight that the Lobos have won by just one run.

As for Lewisville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

For Lewisville's part, Trenton Brantley was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Lewisville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samuel Marquez Montes, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Another was Matthew Sanders, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

As of now, neither Little Elm nor Lewisville have any future games scheduled.
