Basketball Game Preview: Patrick Henry Patriots vs. University City Centurions + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the Patrick Henry Patriots will jump right back in to play the University City Centurions at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Patrick Henry is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight games dating back to last season on Monday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-46 heartbreaker at the hands of Steele Canyon.

Despite their defeat, Patrick Henry saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Isaac Weatherred, who posted 13 points and eight boards, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexander Newlands, who scored 12 points.

Meanwhile, University City was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 41-37 to Calexico.

University City now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Patrick Henry, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Patrick Henry suffered a grim 55-35 defeat to University City in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Thankfully for the Patriots, Dylan Griffin (who shot 69% from the field on his way to 23 points and seven steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
