Basketball Recap: West Valley Beats Eisenhower for Their Third Straight Win

West Valley won the last time they faced Eisenhower and things went their way on Tuesday too. The West Valley Rams managed a 44-39 victory over the Eisenhower Cadets. The win was familiar territory for the Rams, who have now won three matches in a row.

Several Cadets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mercedez Garza, who posted 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Garza now owns an excellent 45.5% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Nekha Roehl, who had 11 points and five boards.

West Valley's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

West Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 100-25 defeat against Davis on the 19th. As for Eisenhower, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-38 loss against Eastmont on the 13th.
