Loranger barely beat Pearl River the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 18-3 win on Saturday. Considering the Wolves have won eight games by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Loranger, bringing their record up to 13-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Pearl River, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-5.

Coming up, Loranger will head out on the road to face off against Lakeshore at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Pearl River has already played their next matchup (against Chalmette), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
