Baseball Recap: Denmark Comes Up Short

Denmark made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Little Chute, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Vikings fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Denmark saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Delarwelle, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Denmark dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.8 runs. As for Little Chute, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

While Denmark had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
