Basketball Recap: Stillwater Comes Up Short

Stillwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Carl Albert Titans, falling 55-34. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Titans are ranked 64th).

Stillwater's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Carl Albert, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Stillwater will face off against Owasso at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carl Albert has already played their next matchup, a 53-49 loss against Bartlesville on the 10th.
