York faced Downers Grove North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Dukes fell 41-28 to the Trojans. The Dukes' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

York's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Downers Grove North, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
