While River View's win against Kittitas wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Coyotes 17-15. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
River View got a massive performance out of Lauren Overstreet, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Danika Koch, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: River View kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March.
River View's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Kittitas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
River View will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Coyotes: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
