Pender extended their home winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Zander Welsh. The Pendragons took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-14 victory over the Homer Knights with plenty of help from Welsh, who threw for 133 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 89 yards and one TD. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
