Buchholz came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tocoi Creek Toros, posting a 42-7 victory. Considering the Bobcats have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Buchholz to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Whittemore, who rushed for 14 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 69 yards and two TDs. The Bobcats' leading receiver Justin Williams was Whittemore's top target yet again, picking up 51 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 50 yards.

Buchholz's record now sits at 7-1. As for Tocoi Creek, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buchholz will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bartram Trail at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Tocoi Creek, they will take on Menendez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Toros will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.29 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
