Halls put the finishing touches on their 13th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past the Union City Golden Tornadoes 11-1. Halls' win was all the more impressive since Union City was averaging only four runs allowed on the season.
Halls got a massive performance out of Hayden Burks, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jackson Booker, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Halls is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 20-15 record this season. As for Union City, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-9.
