Volleyball Recap: Southern Lab's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Southern Lab hadn't done well against Port Allen recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Kittens blew past the Pelicans 3-0. The Kittens not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 27th (when they won 3-0).

Southern Lab's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-7. As for Port Allen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Lab will square off against White Castle at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Port Allen, they will challenge Brusly at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
