Parkview extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 1-15 in the process. They came up short against the Williams Bay Bulldogs, falling 14-5. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-2 defeat last Monday.

As for Williams Bay, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-14. Their offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

For Williams Bay's part, Sarena Brown made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. That's the most strikeouts Brown has posted since back in April of 2024. Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkview will square off against Evansville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Williams Bay, they will take on Living Word Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Timberwolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.06 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
