Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Annapolis walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the North Point Eagles on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since April 8, 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Annapolis and bumps their season record up to 5-13. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for North Point, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Annapolis will face off against Broadneck on Saturday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. North Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
