Basketball Recap: Battle Lake Takes a Loss

Battle Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 77-40 defeat at the hands of the Park Christian Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Battlers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 412th, while the Falcons are ranked 46th).

Battle Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Park Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Battle Lake has already played their next matchup (against Ashby), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Park Christian has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Win-E-Mac.
