Basketball Recap: Waupaca Takes a Loss

If Waupaca was riding high fresh off their 71-34 takedown of Clintonville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Waupaca Comets received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 50-33 to the Oconto Falls Panthers. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 51-44.

Waupaca's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Oconto Falls, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Waupaca has already played their next contest, a 47-44 loss against Fox Valley Lutheran on the 14th. As for Oconto Falls, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-22 victory against Clintonville on the 14th.
