It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Lower Dauphin ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Dallastown Wildcats. Six seems to be a good number for the Falcons as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Lower Dauphin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Dallastown, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lower Dauphin will take on Central Dauphin East at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Dallastown, they will challenge New Oxford at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
