Baseball Game Preview: Peabody Golden Tide vs. Westview Chargers

For the second straight game, Peabody will face off against Westview. The Golden Tide will welcome the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Peabody came up short against Westview and fell 7-3. The Golden Tide haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

For Westview's part, CD Damron was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Damron is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cooper Spaulding, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Westview and bumps their season record up to 18-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Peabody, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
