Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Van-Far

If Macon wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Van-Far, they should've done a better job of containing Pacey Reading. The Van-Far Indians enjoyed a cozy 58-43 victory over the Macon Tigers on Saturday thanks in part to Reading, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 21 or more points the last four times he's played.

The win was the fifth in a row for Van-Far, bringing their record for this year to 11-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Macon, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
